Modern cataphoretic coating lines

Cataphoretic coating lines are fully automated systems. Cataphoretic coating is a technology used to coat components requiring exceptional corrosion resistance, such as car bodies, machine and equipment housings, and industrial components. It provides excellent corrosion protection through the use of epoxy or acrylic resins. Our lines are characterised by high efficiency, process repeatability and compliance with rigorous quality and environmental protection standards. Thanks to the exceptional paint penetration, the process ensures uniform coverage even in hard-to-reach areas, making it an ideal choice for complex part geometries.

Precise coating process

Cataphoretic coating involves the precise and uniform application of acrylic or epoxy resin to the surface of a component. Acrylic resin allows for direct contact of the coating with various reagents without affecting the surface’s characteristics and technical parameters. This stage provides effective protection against various chemical agents and further enhances paint adhesion. During cataphoretic coating, components connected to the negative poles of an electric generator are immersed in a bath. In addition to the paint, the bath also contains electrodes connected to the positive pole. Thanks to electrochemical phenomena, the component is coated with paint with exceptional precision, which is then cured.
